One of the most important things to have for bullet journaling are pens. In my day to day journaling experience, I use a variety of pens to give me different styles and looks within my spreads. Here I thought that I would share some of these products. As they are my favorites and I would highly recommend them to any upcoming bullet journalist.
TOMBOW DUAL BRUSH PENS
Tombow pens are pretty much the cream of the crop when it comes to tools for brush lettering. I use these everyday for heading pages, making titles in my journal, and even writing cards for all occasions such as birthdays. I absolutely love the results that these markers produce, and I love how smooth they are as well. The ink just slides off the brush and onto the page, making for beautiful calligraphy. My favorite color palette is the pastel pack, as it is full of vibrant colors which make for very energetic and fun journal spreads.
ZEBRA MILDLINERS
Mildliners are highlighters that come in a variety of muted and pastel colors. It's a switch up from your classic neon trio of pink, yellow, and blue. Mildliners are quite the game changer, highlighting important events and dates in your journal with style. The pen is versatile, with its top having a broad chisel tip and a fine tip located on the opposite side. I love buying multiple packs with different colors and proceeding to mix and match, creating personalized color palettes. My favorite color combination as of late has been the mustard yellow and light grey. If your into pastels, the baby pink and lavender are a classic combo that looks great in your journal or notes!

SHARPIE PENS
These pens aren't what I'd call remarkable like the last two products. These are more on the affordable side and produce nice bold lines which are perfect for bullet journaling. You can find these in many stores as well as Amazon in a variety of colors, but I prefer the classic black pen to them all.
WHITE GELLY ROLL PENS
I primarily use these pens to make highlights on my calligraphy, but they are great for adding a bright accent to a drawing or spread as well. They write quite smoothly and show up the best on darker pigments of paper.
That's a list of my favorite and most highly recommended products for bullet journaling. Of course you don't need these, but I do hope that you will give one of them (or all) a quick try! Happy journaling!
